GRASSROOTS | Ages U7 to U9 Soccer Program

We want our grassroots players to have an enjoyable experience. We want to focus on having fun and learning. Our players will learn the basics and fundamentals of the game. It great oppurtunity to socialize with others and meet new friends.
PSA Soccer Club Grassroots:Our club has Recreational & Developmental teams for children from the age of U7 to U9. Our recreational & developmental teams will be training on a north east area soccer field led by our soccer coaches.
- Practice will be once per week during the evening(s).
- Practices run weekly from October to the end of February
- Our rercreatioanal and developmental soccer teams will also participate and compete against other CMSA teams from other local soccer clubs on a CMSA supplied indoor soccer fields. Our grassroots games will be tenatively scheduled at Genesis - Saddleridge in the north east Calgary.

- Grassroots teams will participate in weekly mini games from weekend of November 1st to February 21st
- CMSA Grassroots Rally will wrap up the sesaon on February 21st, 2026

Items you will need to participate in our Grassroots program:
PSA Soccer will provide each player with a soccer kit (includes shorts, soccer jersey and socks.)
Parents or Guardians will need to purchase soccer shin pads and indoor soccer shoes. A player should bring their own water bottle to a games and practices. For more information, please read

Interested in being a Grassroots Soccer Coach or Parent Helper?
Coaches (parents) will need their electronic police clearance check (through CMSA), respect in sports and applicable age level coach's certificates.
PSA soccer will help you with organizing & taking your coaching certificates.
